Mark Alan Osterhaus began writing and publishing haiku in 1986. His
inspiration and knowledge of haiku developed soon after meeting Robert
Spiess, the editor and publisher of Modern Haiku. Mark is a frequent
contributor to Modern Haiku, and will soon be published in the 1996 Red
Moon Anthology. Sometime late in 1997, Mark will publish his first haiku
book.
